This site is a mirror site of my laboratory site at www.ccr.jussieu.fr/lovm

It has been set up after we have been forced to withdraw from oour site a web page in which I reported the scientific misconduct of former members of my team.
By publishing this page we wanted to avoid the misuse of results previously obtained by a student in my laboratory.
For technical reasons, this censure resulted in the impossibility to access, work and log on the site, thereby interfering with our communication activity.
We believe that it is essential to inform our colleagues of such acts of misconduct which are too many and which spoil our scientific community .

Facts that we reported are the following :
Back In 1998, I have brought at the INSERM the NOV/CCN research projects and participated actively to the creation of U515 in which I was bringing staff with permanent positions and expertise in molecular biology.
One year later, Y. Le Bouc accepted that two senior scientists from my group join his team and keep working on projects that were previously developed in my team, under my scientific direction. By doing so, Y. Le Bouc integrated our scientific projects in his team.
Since our previous work had established that the adrenal is a major site of nov expression (work performed before our affiliation to the Inserm), I asked C. Martinerie to study the expression of nov in adrenal tumor samples provided by Y. Le Bouc.
The work regarding this project which has been performed under my direct supervision, and financed with my own grant money has been published by Y. Le Bouc, C. Martinerie, M. Laurent et C. Gicquel who deliberately withdrew my name and Pr. S. Kyurkchiev's from the co-authors list. Pr. Kyurkchiev also participated actively to this project by preparing, upon my request, the purified antibodies needed to validate the results obtained with crude sera.
In spite of all the evidences and proofs that we have provided, the CNRS and INSERM have not condemned this misconduct as yet.

To prevent and fight against further acts of scientific misconduct, I have decided to make public the data contained in a scientific report regarding the work performed by a student hired by myself. These results and the clones described in this report have been witheld by the members of U515 when my team moved to Jussieu.
By making these data available to our scientific community, we wish to bring to light the misconduct of these researchers and we believe that neither the INSERM nor the CNRS will be in a position to ignore our participation when this work is to be published.
